Dr. Sam Marzouk, a licensed clinical child and adolescent psychologist in Minneapolis and self-proclaimed “psychology geek”, founded Promethean Psychology to help make evidence-based psychology exciting and engaging for all. As a pediatric specialist, Dr. Sam works with kids and teens of all ages.
With particular expertise in helping pre-teen and teenage boys discover their strengths and confidently transition into adulthood, Dr. Sam is dedicated to fostering positive growth.
He also specializes in pediatric behavioral sleep medicine, viewing sleep as a child’s hidden superpower and helping kids and teens build healthy sleep habits. Additionally, he enjoys supporting children and adolescents with diabetes, empowering them to feel more confident, less different, and ready for life’s challenges.
In addition to his routine clinical work, Dr. Sam regularly provides workshops and trainings to other providers including school personnel, medical providers, and other mental health professionals. He also runs a bi-weekly blog, Kids These Days, where he shares insights and commentary on the latest developments in childhood mental health.
